Our Disposable Aseptic Fluid Path is designed to optimize the use of Flexicon’s peristaltic liquid fillers in the bio-pharma and pharmaceutical industries. The disposable components of the system are available in three ready-to-use standard configurations. The assemblies cover the range from a simple pump tube with Y-connector and filling nozzle, to complete sterile and flexible product bags with integrated pump tubing and filling nozzles for one or two peristaltic filling stations.
All assemblies are radiation sterilized and supplied in double bag with product and sterilization certificate. From the product tank the media is filled into a pre-sterilized product bag through a sterile filter. The media is dispensed into vials or bottles through pre-sterilized silicone tubes and filling nozzles. The complete disposal of all product contact surfaces offers a very cost-effective alternative to conventional filling systems by reducing the need of cleaning and cleaning validation considerably. Furthermore, it allows for the segregation of drugs and faster change-over between batches without risk of cross contamination. Operator safety is enhanced as intervention in aseptic connections and components is eliminated up to the tip of the filling nozzle.

Product Design
- Config. A: Pump tubing with Y-connector and filling nozzle, ready to connect to product vessel and mount in the Flexicon peristaltic filler.
- Config. B: Flexible bag with one product supply line and one filling line with pump tubing, Y-connector and filling nozzle. Bags are available in 2.0, 5.0 and 10 litres.
- Config. C: Flexible bag with one product supply line and two filling lines with pump tubing, Y-connectors and filling nozzles. Bags are available in 2.0, 5.0 and 10 litres.
All assemblies can be supplied in the following Flexicon platinum cured silicone tube sizes: Ø0.8 – Ø1.2 – Ø1.6 – Ø3.2 – Ø4.8 – Ø6.0
